The three-layer structure of its 14 Megapixel Direct Image Sensor Foveon X3 allows it to record all three primary RGB colours for each pixel of the final image. The new SIGMA SD15 features the TRUE II image processor with powerful processing of its 14MP direct image sensor and generates high definition images with an impressive three-dimensional effect and rich tones. The SIGMA SD15 adopts SD memory card format and also features a bright 3-inch LCD display, a 98% coverage viewfinder, 77 zone light measurement. The SD15 is designed to provide the highest image quality with maximum ease of use. The shutter mechanism, with a lifespan of over 100,000 triggers, meets the needs of even the most demanding photographers.
